FNAF World is designed to work with as little of your data as possible. This page explains what is collected and why.
What we collect
- Comments — text you voluntarily post (shown publicly as "Anonymous Guard")
- Vote & play counts — anonymous counters used to rank games
- Server logs — standard technical records (IP, browser, timestamps) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging
Local storage & cookies
- Your "saved" games live only in your browser's local storage — they never leave your device
- A single session cookie exists for the site administrator only; visitors receive no tracking cookies
Third-party content
Games are embedded via iframe from our own storage. Embedded games may use your browser storage for save data.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics (self-hosted) to understand overall site traffic. It is privacy-friendly: no cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking — only anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics.
